One-piece rods
Are there any opinions on one-piece rods?I've never taken them very seriously, because I can't imagine having to find space for 9 feet of graphite in the car. Never mind the theoretical advantages....

I once saw an older Hardy bamboo smuggler rod that was 8.5 feet long and was an EIGHT piece rod. It was described as a nickel silver rod with bamboo spacers. I got a chuckle out that one.
